Here, the apology you asked for,
in three parts.

1. My bad day was not worse
than yours. And I maybe
should not have insisted it
ten or twenty times. But,
I’m listening now.

2. Your bad friend is still
a bad friend, despite what you think.
But maybe I didn’t need to
tell you she was a bad friend,
and all of the bad things she said,
on your bad day

3. My bad exit was not my best.
On a late night in a crowded bar
with all those strangers, I
remembered Ireland and
remembered my bed and
left, good-bye-less-ly.
I’ll try better next time.
